Happy Thanksgiving, you all. Thank you hume!
No turkey, though. : ) Vegan nut-loaf, portobello mushroom gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus & brussel sprouts, baked candied yams, and cranberry sauce. Chocolate pecan pie & pumpkin tarts for dessert.
Oh, and (bottled) beer for libations.
I'm allowed to start drinking the beer when the hockey game starts at 3:30, Lol.

I knowww, I am so ready for dinner. I made & cooked the nut-loaf on Friday and froze it till today, that way it doesn't go soggy as when making and cooking it the same day - kinda like lasagna, y'know? Because I had a dinner to go to on Saturday and because I was already using pecans in the nut-loaf, I made the pies Friday as well. Nobody was home so I cranked the music and baked up a storm. I made the tarts yesterday, on a whim and because I absolutely love pumpkin pie. All I had to do today was prep the veggies and the rest is gravy, baby.
I totally got duped, though. There's no hockey game on today! My b/f just thinks 2pm is too early to start drinking.
Well he's obviously NOT the chef, Lol.
