"Some users will create additional profiles that assume the identity of someone else, such as celebrities, politicians, or even their pets." I think this is one of the more interesting aspects of social networking. The potential for personal creativity and freedom of speech is exponentially enhanced when all inhibitions are hidden behind anonymity.
