Nov. 14, 2006, 3:10 p.m.We didn't buy the electronic toys, but my son still reminds me that he had fun playing MS-DOS games on my first 8088, a Leading Edge. Back in the '80s he asked me what computer dates would do when they got bigger than '99.

Nov. 15, 2006, 12:43 a.m.Einstein did NOT have a computer or calculator......To allow gradeschoolers the use of a calculator is NOT educating them.Similarly, driving a car while chatting away on your cellphone does NOT mean that you can 'multi-task'....it just shows that you are UNABLE to concentrate and set your priorities! At best, the quality of your work is BAD, at worst, you may not live to 'multitask' again....
